Cable Mats
The cable mat system is similar to the cable kit, using the same 3mm 'twin core' cable with a single cold lead. The only difference being that the cable is already pre-spaced & attached to a self-adhesive mesh. With the heating cable already spaced out & with a self-adhesive coating on the mesh, installation couldn't be simpler!
The mat is simply rolled out, pressed onto a primed floor, then tiled over. The mat is suitable for both timber & concrete sub-floors & is ideal for larger, rooms where it saves time on spacing our loose cables.

Important notes
When selecting a cable mat, its size must be at least 10-15% smaller than the rooms 'free floor area' to ensure a comfortable fit.
For larger areas 2 mats may be connected together at the thermostat up to the maximum thermostat rating of 16 amps (3600watts)
